The Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation Department sponsored "Touch a Truck" at Moss-Wright Park on Friday, June 11. This fun, free event allowed kids to touch, climb on, and check out all sorts of fun trucks and vehicles. Katie Ann and I took the boys to the event (heat index on Friday was 100 so it was a little toasty). Andrew liked the fire truck and the army vehicle that looked like "Sarge" from the movie Cars the best. There was a red double decker bus that Andrew and KAW waited in line to enter. This was their least favorite vehicle. It was actually a party bus complete with disco balls, black lights, and poles for dancing. Andrew didn't like the loud music and KAW was concerned she needed disinfectant for the poles. I stayed with James and Patrick so we missed this bus! Not sure what that bus was doing at the kids event!
After checking out all the trucks, we went to the swings for a little bit and then headed home to cool off! Here are some photos and a link to the entire album.
